Description
Hawthorn belongs to the Roseaceae family and is a shrub commonly found in gardens as well as in country fences.
In the past it was used by botanists for hundreds of years, while in modern times it is one of the most popular herbs in the western world with many publications mentioning its important properties.
Hawthorn active ingredients contain a range of flavonoids including rutin and proanthocyanidins. These ingredients are found in large quantities in the leaves and flowers of Hawthorn. Lamberts Hawthorn extract is obtained from the aboveground parts of the plant.
Dosage: 1 tablet daily, for at least 6 weeks. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
