Lamberts EVENING PRIMROSE OIL & STARFLOWER OIL 1000mg 90CAPS

This product combines Evening Primrose Oil with Starflower (borage) seed oil to produce a blend that is richer in C-linoleic acid (GLA) compared to the C-linoleic acid produced by Evening Primrose Oil alone.

GLA is the precursor of a particularly important prostaglandin of PGE1, which is involved in a number of important biological functions.

Although the body can produce GLA from linoleic acid (the omega 6 fatty acid found in vegetable oils) this conversion is often slowed down or even completely inhibited. For this reason, a dietary source of GLA can be useful for the body to bypass the conversion process, which is confirmed by several clinical studies that have shown the benefit of taking GLA supplements in specific cases.

This product provides approximately 50% more GLA per capsule than Evening Primrose Oil capsules of the same size. Each Extra High Potency EPO capsule from Lamberts also provides 10mg of Vitamin E which helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

Dosage: 1 to 3 capsules per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose
