Mint is characterized by a long tradition of using it as an aid to digestion. The vegetable oils found in the leaves of the plant (peppermint oil) and especially menthol, are the key ingredients, although non-oily ingredients also act synergistically in the success of the gastrointestinal tract.

According to recent studies, peppermint oil has a beneficial effect on the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). IBS is caused by a disorder of the function of the gastrointestinal tract wall. The smooth muscle fibers of the intestinal wall become irritated, resulting in intense and painful contractions. As many clinical studies show, peppermint oil relaxes the smooth muscle fibers of the intestinal wall.

Lamberts Peppermint Oil capsules contain 100mg of pure mint oil, distilled from mint leaves.

Dosage: 3 capsules daily, 1 after each main meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
