Arginine belongs to the non-essential amino acids, although many researchers consider it “conditionally necessary”. This separation occurs because the body is unable to produce sufficient amounts of arginine during periods of rapid growth, in the event of trauma and stress. It is found in foods such as dairy products, meat, poultry, fish and nuts, but is generally present in low levels in fruits and vegetables.

The body uses arginine to produce NO (Nitrogen Monoxide), a substance with vasodilating action.

Dosage: 1-4 tablets daily, with juice or water rather than milk. Amino acids are better absorbed when taken half an hour before eating or sleeping.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
