Description
Bromelain is an enzyme derived from the stem of a fresh pineapple. The potency of bromelain formulations is determined by the levels of enzyme activity, which is measured in GDU (gelatin-dissolving units). This formulation is one of the highest potency bromelain formulations, as it delivers 1000GDU per 400mg tablet.
Dosage: For joint health: 3 tablets (1 between meals) daily for one week. Then maintenance dose: 1 tablet per day for 3 to 6 months.
As an aid to digestion: 1 tablet before each meal, up to 3 per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
