Use

This vitamin was first isolated from egg yolk in 1935 and is found in a wide variety of combined forms of animal and plant tissues. In animals it is stored in the liver. Biotin is produced by the bacteria of the intestinal flora. Chronic use of antibiotics and other drugs has been shown to affect the bacterial production of this vitamin. As a coenzyme, biotin metabolizes hydrocarbons and proteins for energy release and is involved in the production of prostaglandins by lipids. Biotin is primarily used by the body to contribute to the smooth growth and improvement of skin, hair and bone marrow

1 to 3 capsules a day
