Special milk for babies 0-12 months with reductions.

Almiron AR is an anti-reducing milk and is recommended in cases where the baby’s stomach is difficult to hold the milk during feeding and thus makes reductions or sips. This is because the baby’s digestive system is not fully mature. Almiron AR will help relieve the above symptom.

The composition of Almiron AR contains carob flour which makes it thicker, so that the milk is kept in the baby’s stomach. Almiron AR may cause a small change in your baby’s bowel movements, but there is no cause for concern.

Like any other milk in the Almiron range, it provides your baby with all the nutrients he needs to grow.

Almiron AR is specially designed to fully meet the nutritional needs of the baby from birth to the 6th month in combination with breast milk or as an exclusive food.

Nutricia recommends Almiron AR milk which contains:

– the unique 9: 1 ratio of GOS / FOS oligosaccharides

– polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPs)

– nucleotides

– carob flour which makes the milk thicker

– low fat content to increase the rate of defecation

– protein with increased casein ratio to make digestion slower

Due to its viscous composition we recommend:

– always prepare the milk before the meal and not earlier, because remaining it will thicken more.

– use a different breast pump (with a larger hole) or a cream breast pump.

Caution: Not for use in infants with gastro-oesophageal disease.
