Balsam is a wild flower with bright yellow flowers with small black spots at the ends. Contains the substance hyperkinine whose action on the nervous system has been recognized. However, recent research has shown that the isolated substance hyperkinine has a less potent effect than whole plant extract, suggesting that the complex blend of herbal ingredients containing xanthines and flavonoids is important for the plant’s beneficial properties. Although many people have noticed some relief from their symptoms fairly quickly, within two weeks, the results typically appear between the fourth and eighth week of taking. According to some health scientists, one should expect the results of the plant extract in at least six weeks.

Components

Extract of freshly grown balsam (Hypericum perforatum) flowers. Each tablet contains 330μg of hypericin.

Dosage and method of use

Adults: 1 tablet 3 times daily during meals. They are swallowed raw with a little water. After 2 weeks, 1 tablet 2 times a day.
